Please read each club’s description carefully as some clubs are grade-appropriate

*Parent/Guardians – you must pick up your child at 3:05.  We cannot let students walk home from clubs, and buses will not be available.

 

Health and Fitness

Yoga/Health 3rd – 5th

Yoga Gardening is a fun and healthy way to take care of you!  This club combines yoga and teaching healthy habits.   Yoga helps your mind and body stay fit.  Have fun and be healthy!

Mighty Milers/Fitness 3rd-5th

Track some time running!  Here is your chance to earn your marathon badges while staying healthy.

Arts

Art K-1st

Here is your chance to express yourself through multi-media materials!  Join the Art Club and you will create inspirational works of art through pastels, paint, clay, and many other types of media that will be displayed throughout our school

Art 2nd-3rd

Here is your chance to express yourself through multi-media materials!  Join the Art Club and you will create inspirational works of art through pastels, paint, clay, and many other types of media that will be displayed throughout our school.

Art 4th-5th

Here is your chance to express yourself through multi-media materials!  Join the Art Club and you will create inspirational works of art through pastels, paint, clay, and many other types of media that will be displayed throughout our school.

Kindness Club

This club will focus on finding school/community projects where members can spread kindness as a way of combat bullying. Students will also work on visible activities such as "World Kindness Day" and "Pay it Forward Day". The gardening part of the club will help promote healthy eating and sustainability while reinforcing science, literacy, and math concepts (measurement, graphing, seasons, plant life cycle, water cycle, etc.).

Forget about the future, your time to be a scientist is now!  Learn the how’s and why’s of our universe through experiments.  Not only are you sharpening your critical thinking skills, but you will have a head start getting ready for college!

Legos 1st – 2nd

Create, innovate, and collaborate by building with Legos!  You will build vehicles, buildings, gears, and whatever else leaps into your imagination.  Join an endless amount of creative opportunities.  Your inspiring creations will be showcased around the school.

Board Games 3rd-5th 

Board games are rich in learning opportunities. They satisfy a child's competitive urges and the desire to master new skills and concepts, such as: number and shape recognition, grouping, and counting, letter recognition and reading, visual perception and color recognition, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity. Board games also teach important social skills such as taking turns, waiting, and sharing.

Book Club 3rd-5th

This club will center around students choosing books, reading them in an organized and purposeful way, following club's guidelines. Students will meet once a week to discuss chapters read, working collaboratively, learning take-turn skills. Students will also work on public speaking skills and respectful discussions.

Drama 3rd-5th 

The Drama Club is designed to engage the creative mind of students while allowing them to express themselves through performance.  Students will rehearse and then perform to their peers at different times throughout the school year.
